Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electro-mechanical, optical assembly and testing of medical device equipment using GMP.

Position Requirements

  • Prior medical device experience is a plus.

Laser Alignment/Test Technician

The Laser Test Technician will be responsible for optical/laser assembly, test, and calibration, along with data collection and analysis. In addition, perform rework on assemblies and/or systems in response to failures and non-conformance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, clean and test electro-optical assemblies, and laser systems to meet performance specifications.
  • Calibrate and Burn-in high power laser systems.
  • Verify Electrical specification with oscilloscope and multimeters
  • Troubleshoot and perform problem isolation on Laser system and sub-assembly components.
  • Collect and evaluate test and build data to ensure process control and product quality based on specific procedures and processes.
  • Interface with engineers on special tests and qualification testing of new products: This includes developing test methodology, establishing test parameters and drafting procedures.
  • Develop and maintain data systems to record and report test results. Provide technical input and evaluation on process improvements.
  • Analyze equipment performance and schedule maintenance and calibration as required. Utilize online databases to accurately transact material, and review drawings and bills of material.
  • Perform failure analysis and determine root cause with minimal instructions
  • Ability to complete the task within the specified timeline.
  • Maintain compliance with FDA, GMP/QSR, Manufacturing process/Work Instructions and ISO 13485.

Position Requirements

  • AS degree in Electronics, Physics, Laser Technology is preferred or 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to use a variety of testing and measuring and optical instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, photodetector, microscope, etc.)
  • Experience in testing laser systems required with multiple wavelengths 532, 670, 755 and 1064.
  • High degree of professionalism, character, and integrity
  • Detail and quality oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated with commitment to production timelines
  • Able to work with small components.
  • Optics/lasers and medical device industry is a strong plus
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds occasionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of vehicles (includes proper use of wheelchair tie down, use of a lift, etc.) while transporting participants from their homes to the Day Health Centers and community appointments.
  • Ensure participant and vehicle safety (van maintenance, pre-trip inspections, use of seatbelts, body mechanics, transfer training, and wheelchair safety).

  • Supports participant’s care plan as developed by IDT (assist participant in transport; make observations and report to the team)

Position Requirements

  • Licensed California Driver with good driving record.
  • Ability to operate all vehicles of On Lok has some mechanical ability and understand the maintenance program for vehicles.
  • One-year experience working with the frail or elderly population preferred.
  • Flexibility and creativity; gets along well with frail elderly people, and exercises mature judgment.
