Volunteers are the backbone of the change

GWP has a strong and growing network of volunteers worldwide. Our active volunteers include professionals, students, and changemakers dedicated to empowering women. The exact number fluctuates as new volunteers join and others complete their commitments, but we have thousands actively working across different programs.

GWP volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, including students and recent graduates passionate about social impact, professionals from corporate, tech, healthcare, and business sectors, social workers, educators, activists, entrepreneurs and business mentors supporting women-led initiatives, writers, designers, and digital marketers helping with awareness campaigns. No matter your experience level, your skills and passion can make a difference!

You can become a GWP volunteer in three simple steps: 1) Fill out the volunteer application form on our website, 2) Attend an orientation session to learn about our programs and impact areas, 3) Get matched with a volunteer role that fits your skills and interests.

We aim to respond within 5-7 business days after receiving your application. If there are high application volumes, it may take slightly longer. You will receive an update via email regarding the next steps.

Our selection process is based on your passion for women's empowerment and social change, skills or experience relevant to our initiatives, and commitment to the required volunteer hours and responsibilities. While experience is a plus, it is not mandatory—enthusiasm and dedication matter most!

Absolutely! No experience? No problem! GWP welcomes first-time volunteers and provides necessary guidance and training. Your willingness to contribute is what truly counts.
